FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What happens to my models if I stop paying?
Nothing. A project is a .mbe.json file you saved to your own machine, not a record in our database. There is no export to request and nothing to lock you out of.
Is MBE3Dstudio open source?
No. Source access is available under agreement on Enterprise. An earlier tool of ours, CAS Studio, is open source and stays public, but it is not what we build now.
Can I run it on our own network?
On Enterprise, yes. The studio is a folder of static files behind any web server, including fully offline. The agent needs the proxy and an API key, so an air-gapped install simply has no agent.
Where does my model data go?
The models, analyses and exports you create are not collected or stored by us. The one exception is the agent: asking it a question sends a briefing about the open model to Anthropic, along with any specification sections it reads to answer you. Don't use it if that is not acceptable for your programme.

How does billing work?
Monthly or annual, through Stripe. Annual is $348 a year, which works out at $29 a month and saves $120. Cancel whenever. You keep every model you have saved.
